Boho New Orleans In-Home Lifestyle Branding Photo Session

Being comfortable is one of the most important aspects of a photo shoot. It’s all about how you feel on the inside that really allows you to shine on the outside in front of the camera. That’s exactly why in-home sessions are one of my favorite kinds of sessions. Shooting in your home can be such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It provides you with the freedom to be in your own space, to get as cozy as you desire, and to be your full self with no worries. 

When Scarlet, a fellow photographer, reached out to me that she wanted her new branding photos to be in her home I was super excited. As soon as I walked into her New Orleans shot-gun home, I could automatically get a vibe for her free-spirited energy. From her sweet pups loving on me to her offering me glasses of tea, I even felt like I was at home myself. I loved seeing how quickly Scarlet opened up to the camera. I could tell that she had created a space for herself that embodied her spirit. It really showed on camera.

After shooting inside, we snapped a few shots outside on her patio with her luscious plants, then we took a quick drive down the street to get some shots in her surrounding neighborhood. We strolled around to find some cool scenery and chatted about how the city of New Orleans is just one of a kind. I can definitely say that Scarlet and I truly enjoyed our session together. It felt less like work & more like girl time! :)
